[ And as you're saying that, you're going to feel the way his fingers loosen just by a fraction, because in so many words you've actually just... given him a lot to think about. Or rather, imagine.

That smile is going to be met with this one's unblinking gaze, Hikaru, and the way he's pressing his lips together because his mouth has just gone dry. ]

[And while he puts on a great show of looking offended, the mirth in his eyes ought to tell you that he is not wounded in the slightest, and he would totally be fine with being "indecent" with you in a public place.]

[ Yep. Definitely impossible.

So I guess I'll go order another round of sashimi.

[ Slipping his hand from yours and hiding a smile as he peers at that menu again. ]

I think I'm good, actually. I'm itching for a cigarette anyway.

[And he knows, for a fact, that you watch him whenever he smokes. He's perfectly fine with you doing that, especially since the both of you have established a big possible way that tonight's going to end for the both of you.]

[ And he's going to get that extra order, because the food here is great and he wanted another one anyway. When the server comes though, he slips his card over and advises that he'll be paying the bill as well.

You both have a movie to catch after this, right? Even if there is a distinct possibility that you'll both be too distracted to actually watch. ]

[In the meantime, this one is perfectly content with leaning far back in his seat, all sorts of indolent and casual, and smoking through more of his cigarettes.

Of course he isn't trying to distract you with his looks alone.

[ Stopping mid-chew as he catches that, and then chewing again before he swallows. ]

You're so awful.

Only because you're slow.

[And he intends to take advantage of every second that you continue to spend eating.]

[ His eyes narrow a fraction at that. Slow, huh?

He's going to go right back to eating and enjoying it. And if his eyes slide your way occasionally, it's deliberate. ]

[And thank you for giving him a free show, which he is enjoying with that same easy crooked smile, appraising look, and slow, cat-like blinks.

Since you keep looking up, love, you're going to keep seeing the way he looks when he smokes. This might not work in your favor.]

[ It's not going to work in his favor here, but he figures he can try remedying that for you both when you're finally back in the Tower. He holds out, give him props for that. Even if the way you breathe out that smoke reminds him of the way you look in bed, or the give of your mouth beneath his.

Polishing off that last off his food now, just as the server comes back with the bill for him to sign.

You'll note he's deliberately keeping his eyes averted. No sense advertising to the rest of the world what he wants to do to you.
