Waking the Dead 2.0 || August 13, 2063 || Saturday || The Mordechai Home

[So before the real work in Europe starts, you've all got a free day to roam around the Mordechai Home and its rather beautiful surroundings. Everyone is more than welcome to stay the night.
The Cooley Peninsula's a lovely place, and this particular section is even prettier than the rest of the area. The house, in itself, is pretty interesting too.
Knock yourselves out, guys. This is turning out to be a pretty sweet vacation, isn't it?]
DESCRIPTION STUFF:
+ The house is an old-style Irish home made of brick and covered in ivy. It's got two floors (all five bedrooms are upstairs, and each one has a bathroom), an attic, and a basement. Everything's antique in here, and there is pretty much NOTHING Japanese in the house except Hikaru. The binding motifs: Christian symbols with a Celtic twist, blades, brambles and water.
+ First floor's got the kitchen with the dining area right next to it, and the living room with a fireplace. There's a porch up front.
+ The attic is full of old and interesting shit, and looks like a study. Hikaru's Brotherhood of Violence stuff is here.
+ The basement is the strangest area: half of it is a workshop-cum-armory with a map that expands an entire wall. It's full of old notes, post-its and photographs. Observers will note that this was Alistair's project from way back when - the beginnings of how he always managed to keep track of Hikaru. The other half is under lock and key; the door's a vault. It feels cold beyond it. VERY cold.
+ There's a beach that's about a three minute's walk down from the hill that the house is on. The ancestral Mordechai cemetery's a ten minute walk from the house, through rolling hills. Alistair's wife is buried there, as are Maes' wife and kids, Abel, and both Seth Mordechais.
+ ...And then there are fields for miles and miles, and mountains in the distance.
+ The Kearney home is actually a fifteen minute drive away from the Mordechai home. Nobody's in, though.
OTHER OOC NOTES:
+ Feel free to go anywhere you like. Ping me if you need descriptions.
+ Alistair will only return to the house by sunset. He's in the cemetery or roaming around in the forest. until then.
+ Feel free to make your own threads, or pop in to bug the NPCs at the threads I am putting up for them.

Then let's go upstairs.
[ It's late, he probably has only a couple of hours with you before you head off for duty. ]
no subject
[He'll have to at least arrange this stuff properly... there we go.
Now he'll let you lead the way.]
no subject
Granted, he knows instinctively that the Hounds are not averse to buddying up ( they have had a number of sleepovers at Brianna's treehouse ), but he doesn't want to sleep away from you any more than you likely do not wish to sleep away from him.
He lets you go in first, because it gives him the opportunity to observe your movements without being scrutinizing. He's concerned, not suspicuous. And now that he has confirmation fron a reliable source, he can calibrate accordingly. ]
no subject
Don't worry. He's going to run out of things to see to eventually. Granted, he'll probably do another turn around the room, or maybe a third, but it'll happen.
Still, you are welcome to try to get him to sit still.]
no subject
He interrupts you then, just as you're fussing over something that really, really doesn't need to be fussed over, by looping an arm around your waist and coming right over to kiss you full on and mouth as one hand cups your cheek to keep you still.
He's not asking or offering this time with a room for you to turn him down. Or tell him that it's okay. You're getting that kiss and it's going to be as gentle as it is terribly firm. ]
no subject
He has noted how careful you've been with him since the two of you made up. You really don't have to be, and he really wants to show you that.]
no subject
I'm not going anywhere. [ He's told you that already, but it seems like the right thing to say. ] Stop being so shy.
[ He smiles when he pulls back just a little. ] It's kind of freaking me out.
no subject
Sorry. I just thought...
[Cutting himself off there, because isn't he doing that whole shyeness thing again? Didn't Josh just say that it was starting to worry him?
Now what was he supposed to do?]
no subject
He's going to walk backwards towards the bed now, your fingers laced through his. He's also going to sit down and look up at you. ]
Just be with me tonight? [ Yes, Josh is doing that unconscious thing he does where he bites his lower lip again, he's also looking up at you like there is nothing in the world you could possibly do wrong. ]
no subject
I think I can manage that.
[It's both an affirmation and a bit of an apology. He doesn't like screwing up, especially since the two of you have barely started to be fine again.]
no subject
C'mere then. [ And as he's saying that, he's tugging you close, his hands coming to span your waist with the intent to have you straddle his lap.
Your height's aren't that far apart, but he's broader than you and you need some meat on your bones after this last bad fall. ]
no subject
That is why he dips down to kiss you: maybe it'll help him breathe a little easier.]
no subject
Love you, [ he murmurs that against your mouth, hips shifting just a little so that he's snug against you. ]
no subject
Love you too.
[Saying that with a small smile in your direction, just as he's letting one arm shift away, and resting that hand against your chest. Yes, his fingers are close to the buttons of your shirt.]
no subject
What's wrong? [ Of course, he has to ask. He's never seen you like this before. The last couple of days don't count because he was calibrating himself. ]
no subject
Nothing's wrong. I guess... I guess it's just been a while?
[And yes, there is, once more, that whole part about being so sure that he'd never be able to have you like this again.]
no subject
I guess it has.
[ He's kissing you again after that, gentle but firm at first and then gradually gaining a semblance of urgency that you can feel him still holding back.
What he's doing is simple: he's drawing you out, showing you that he wants you, hoping to reassure you that there's no need to shy away. ]
I'm right here, Hikaru. Not going anywhere. I promised, remember?
no subject
Please don't.
[There's a little more of the honesty that you're familiar with. You're on the right track.]
no subject
He has missed the taste of your lips, the give of your mouth beneath his, the texture of your tongue against his own. ]
no subject
He'll respond in kind by helping you out of your own shirt, or starting to, anyway.]
no subject
His hips are also flush against yours, so you'll feel the way he wants you, even as he's getting rid of that shirt of yours. ]
no subject
It's becoming easier to fall back into the rhythm that the two of you tend to establish when you've decided to come together. It helps everything make sense again.]
no subject
Moving with you like this is like breathing, and as he shifts so that he can press his lips to yours all over again, he's pinning those hands of yours on either side of your head. ]
no subject
As such, don't be too surprised to hear the way he breaks away from another round of kissing you with a tiny whine, and a darkened look in your direction as he's pressing the side of his face against the bed. The sheets are cooler than the rest of him is, or so he thinks.]
no subject
Letting go of one hand now to catch your chin and turn your face back to his. ]
Hey, [ this one's tone is soft and coaxing. ] Hey, what is it?
