[She had enough power to set a car on fire, that much she knew... But there were spells she could turn to, other witches she could band with and power they could pool. It'd be a last resort in the name of self-defense because Bonnie sure as hell would be staying out of her way.

She couldn't speak for her friends, though. Especially Damon.

I came here to get away from all this. Didn't expect them to let in someone who'd try and stir up trouble.

There are a lot of people here who won't stand for that. Myself included.

[ She's probably gotten this impression about Hikaru before, that he'll do just about anything for the people he considers his friends or his family. And you're definitely a friend to him. ]

Where are you heading right now?

I hope it doesn’t come to that. That it’s all just a bunch of talk coming out of a place of fear and hate for something that’s not even here. At least, it didn’t seem like there was anyone else here from her world.

[There was a reason she’d reached out to him after that message - knowing she could trust him to be honest with her and give her the information she needed to hear.]

I’m heading over to a friend’s. Didn’t feel like sitting alone in my apartment.

[And that's about all she ask for right now. Clearly the higher-ups here were aware of it all, so all she could do was try and keep Damon from getting himself in trouble. Something she really didn't have any control over anyways considering he usually did what he wanted.]

I still might take you up on that at some point. [Depending on whether or not Damon behaved with this mess.] Just thought I'd check in on it because I trust you with this kind of stuff.
