Waking the Dead 2.0 || August 19, 2063 || Friday

[This one disappears for about thirty minutes, and returns as quietly as he left with two briefcases. He doesn't explain where he went, but from how he ducks into Hikaru's room for about fifteen minutes after that, it can probably be inferred that he fetched a few things from Falner.
Looks like he'll be staying at the Tower while he has taken control of his Brother's body. You're usually going to spot him hovering around, smoking, working through a glass of rum, eyes crimson-ringed and glowing oddly in all lights (or lack thereof) watching... who knows what he's watching? And that suit he's wearing - three-piece, black, pin-striped, with ghostly faces and smoke occasionally moving over the "fabric" - is pretty nice, creepiness aside.
Please excuse him if you find him suddenly popping in on you. It's just what he does.]
OOC Notes:
+ Drop starters as you please! I'll have Death haunt you accordingly. ♥
+ Feel free to do other stuff among yourselves here as well.
+ Do note that Makoto's out and solid for this evening too, so you can bug him or ping me if you want him to come around and bother you.

[That might just be Death's way of offering to help...]

It's not exactly that...

Then what is it?

It's not even that she's lazy; it's more that she...can't see herself moving in this space so close to the people she's beginning to care about so much because she's scared of the fact that she does care for them.
And that's embarrassing to admit.
So she just looks away. ]

What is it?
[Repeating that, because this is curious.]

(sob) ]
It's... embarrassing.
no subject
Why?
[Does not compute.]
no subject
She just ran herself into a corner, didn't she? ]
It is difficult to explain... And I'm not very good with... this.

[Eloquence was so terribly overrated, in his opinion.]

Then I hope that it will not be too long before I am out again, and that by the time that I am, you will be able to tell me.
[Since he is usually only out on the Hour, and that is not the time for talking.]
no subject
I promise. I will tell you when we see each other again.

Ah. Right. Okay. Extending his own, and hooking it together with hers. He remembers now.]
I shall hold you to that.
[Yep. He just smiled. He'll only register the fact that he did later.]
