[This one disappears for about thirty minutes, and returns as quietly as he left with two briefcases. He doesn't explain where he went, but from how he ducks into Hikaru's room for about fifteen minutes after that, it can probably be inferred that he fetched a few things from Falner.

Looks like he'll be staying at the Tower while he has taken control of his Brother's body. You're usually going to spot him hovering around, smoking, working through a glass of rum, eyes crimson-ringed and glowing oddly in all lights (or lack thereof) watching... who knows what he's watching? And that suit he's wearing - three-piece, black, pin-striped, with ghostly faces and smoke occasionally moving over the "fabric" - is pretty nice, creepiness aside.

Please excuse him if you find him suddenly popping in on you. It's just what he does.]

[ He is only half surprised when Yulia does that, so there's a momentary flash of What the-?! before he's laughing as he goes down and lands on the mattress.

He doesn't tense, but he does wait, arms outstretched as he just... lies there.

When it is clear that there is nothing though: ] See? Told you so.

[ FINE. So the bed is safe and it doesn't turn you into a rainbow-colored beacon of sparkles. Still, she's standing there, arms crossed and frowning.

...And then she pokes the foot of the bed with the toe of her boot.

Huh.

So, there might be nothing, after all...? ]

[ He's just going to watch your suspicion with amusement. ]

This is a pretty awesome mattress.

[ It really is. ]

[ Eyeroll. ]

[ She will now grumpily sit down at the edge of the bed.

Which, okay, fine, it's a nice mattress. And the bed frame isn't at all garish. Or so horribly not her style. ]

[ Tossing a grin your way, and reminding you again: ] My tablet's just across the way in my room. We can look at bed designs and then ask Stan to change the look of things.

[ Shopping is also still a thing. ]

No, he doesn't have to.

[ Scooting back now, so she can lean on the headboard. ]

[ He really shouldn't be as amused as he is that you're acting like this, but he is -- what's the point in denying it. ]

We can get you stuff as soon as we're free from any commitments.

[ The mall is kind of just... there. ]

[ Because seriously, besides a closet, and maybe a night stand, she really doesn't need anything else. ]

[ And he's going to roll over onto his stomach so that he can look at you straight. ]

It's not fun getting shot in your stomach. [ ...She could have died, seriously. ] Which made me think. Do you think we could get a dress that doubles as armor? [ It makes sense. ]

[ You'll note the downward turn of his gaze when you mention being shot. That was his call, and while he's settled enough about how everything turned out in the end, it's a mistake he won't make again. ]

Well, Hikaru did mention earlier that Kasumi does that with her clothes, right?

[ He's leaning his head in one hand, elbow braced on the mattress. ]

And don't most of the Whisperers go around in geisha attire?

[ Frowns. ]

I am not wearing Geisha attire. It takes too long to wear, and the make up is too much.

[larue]

[ And this one's going to chuckle a bit. ]

No, I don't think I can see you in geisha attire.

But maybe plainclothes can be turned into armor? I mean, the Rhiannon suits look, for all intents and purposes, like business suits. And I've rarely ever seen the likes of Jessie out of his suit.

[ And you never will, LaRue. Too bad you missed Samurai Day in Seigi. ]

I would like that. We should ask around for some. Maybe they have something nice and expensive you can buy for me.

[ Evil. Grin. ]

[larue]

[ Don't tell him that out loud -- he just might take it as a challenge. ]

We should. [ 'Nice' doesn't always have to equate to 'expensive', but he's not batting an eyelash on whatever you want to buy. ] Just try not to break my bank account. I kind of need it.

[ What a grin, Bostova. ] If you use that smile on people when you do Whisperer rounds, I'd like to see it firsthand.

[ And then, a raised eyebrow. ] And what makes you think I will invite you to them? [ She doesn't watch you while you do your boring Rhiannon work, so don't go asking her to watch while she does her job!!! ]

[ Somehow, he kind of knew that you'd say that. ]

This is assuming, of course, that you wander down to a Maenad establishment.

[ There's a familiar glint in this one's eye. You'll know it well. It makes sense, of course, that he'd go with Maenad for Netsach. ]

But you are so busy with Rhiannon. Good luck with timing your business meetings with mine.

[ Have a pair of puppy eyes trained your way. You know he only dares to tease you like this when none of the other Hounds are around to see -- don't want to give Stanley any ideas. ]

The Tower isn't finished yet. But when it is, it's only a couple of blocks from the Fort Strip.

[ Yes, you may punch him if you like. He's goading you deliberately. ]

--Hey, ow! [ He was both expecting and not expecting that, but okay, Bostova, you started this, GAME ON.

He's grabbing your other pillow and giving you an answering WHACK. ]

[ There is an undignified shriek, and she retaliates.

[ That is a Y E L P from in-between those two hits before he's lifting an arm to shield his face as he takes a shot at you to the hip.
