Waking the Dead 2.0 || August 19, 2063 || Friday

[This one disappears for about thirty minutes, and returns as quietly as he left with two briefcases. He doesn't explain where he went, but from how he ducks into Hikaru's room for about fifteen minutes after that, it can probably be inferred that he fetched a few things from Falner.

Looks like he'll be staying at the Tower while he has taken control of his Brother's body. You're usually going to spot him hovering around, smoking, working through a glass of rum, eyes crimson-ringed and glowing oddly in all lights (or lack thereof) watching... who knows what he's watching? And that suit he's wearing - three-piece, black, pin-striped, with ghostly faces and smoke occasionally moving over the "fabric" - is pretty nice, creepiness aside.

Please excuse him if you find him suddenly popping in on you. It's just what he does.]

OOC Notes:
+ Drop starters as you please! I'll have Death haunt you accordingly. ♥
+ Feel free to do other stuff among yourselves here as well.
+ Do note that Makoto's out and solid for this evening too, so you can bug him or ping me if you want him to come around and bother you.

[ He scratches at the back of his head, because it doesn't anymore. ]

Um... I don't think people say it anymore. It's the first time I've said it since pop-history 102 and St. Quincy's. Fifty years and even street-slang's evolved I guess.

[ And he has to think on that. Most of his preferred slang actually comes from way before he was born. ]

I think that the slang from the 2010s lives on. I hear a lot of adults saying 'Medj' or 'Deins' the same way we use it so...

Hmm. Why's that?

Ah. Nostalgia. Have you ever heard the phrase "they don't make 'em like they used to"? We tend to apply that depending on preferences. Some people like older stuff because newer things may be shiny, but they're not always as good to some people because of those preferences.

[ He lifts his lighter to you. ]

This is a classic Zippo from the late two-thousands. It was treated the same way as newer lighters are now. Again, preference.

That too. I'm young, as far as Hunter standards go... Lots of things are old to me, and everything I've learned so far kind of points to the fact that sometimes, you'll have an easier time doing it old school.

[ Unless it's traveling. There isn't anything more convenient than a 'port. ]

Of course, brother.

[ He really doesn't mind you two talking. ]
