[This one disappears for about thirty minutes, and returns as quietly as he left with two briefcases. He doesn't explain where he went, but from how he ducks into Hikaru's room for about fifteen minutes after that, it can probably be inferred that he fetched a few things from Falner.

Looks like he'll be staying at the Tower while he has taken control of his Brother's body. You're usually going to spot him hovering around, smoking, working through a glass of rum, eyes crimson-ringed and glowing oddly in all lights (or lack thereof) watching... who knows what he's watching? And that suit he's wearing - three-piece, black, pin-striped, with ghostly faces and smoke occasionally moving over the "fabric" - is pretty nice, creepiness aside.

Please excuse him if you find him suddenly popping in on you. It's just what he does.]

[ This one is in her room, still bare save for the bed magicked by Taning earlier on. She's staring at it-- no, glaring at it, wondering if it would turn into bacon if she even touches it.

It's not that she doesn't trust Taning with his magic, it's just that he's such a goddamn troll that she expects it to do something ridiculous if she even thinks of lying down.

She... she'll need to do furniture shopping soon. Definitely.

You don't like the one Stan got for you? [ Walking in now to actually look at that bed before he bumps his shoulder lightly against hers. ] We can look at designs on my tablet and have him change the look of it?

[ She looks back at the bed, lips pursed. It probably says something about a person when their blademate doesn't trust anything they conjure up from thin air. ]

No, it is not that. I am just suspicious of whatever surprise he might have added to the bed.

[ Yeah, he's just going to laugh at that. He's not even going to hide how amused he feels over how he totally saw this coming. ]

What? [ Saying that with a grin. ] Hey, I'm all for offering myself up as sacrificial lamb if it makes you feel better.

[ If it springs any surprises, then you can say that you were right to be suspicious, right?

He doesn't really think there's anything though. ]

[ Here, she'll shove you on the bed, see if it eats you up or something while she'll just stand there and watch. ]

[ You're getting a text from a Brigade sitting on a ledge on the roofdeck. ]

Still up? I'm on the roofdeck and have something for you.

[ He's twirling a long-stemmed, blue rose in his hand. After the Chief left, he had one last one delivered to the Tower's lobby instead of to the Tower itself. ]

[ Okay, so, she told him the things she needed to tell him on the 18th. No big deal, right? Everything should already be okay. They were okay during the Jason Todd Encounter. Replying to this one text message should be fine.

Except Yulia takes all of ten minutes to reply after receiving and reading the text. ]

I will be there soon.

[ Shit. She said she'd be there soon. Calm the fuck down, Yulia. It's just Brigade. Maybe he'll bore you to death by talking and you could stab him again? Let's get this over with. ]

[ There is no rush really. The rose is just lying beside him, on the ledge, neatly protected in those plastic wraps they put single-stem flowers in.

Taking a swig of his beer, legs dangling off the ledge ]

[ She doesn't bother replying anymore. She just pockets her phone and moves upstairs to the roofdeck. She sees the rose, but doesn't think anything of it, so she sits nearby. Next to Brigade, but not too near. ]

I will take the rum, if you do not mind.

[ Brig pulls out the flask from his coat pocket. It's still full. He puts it into her hand ]

Of course not. I offered, didn't I? [ He smiles as he picks up the blue rose from his side, and holds it out to her as well ]

[ She'd already opened the flask so she could take a swig when the rose is offered. She looks at it, surprised and confused. She blinks up at Brigade.

It isn't even the 18th anymore. ]

What is that for?

[ She... she seriously doesn't know what to say. There are no words to express how she's feeling right now. She doesn't even know what she's feeling. Relief? Anger? Embarrassment?

She's quiet when she takes the flower (it would be rude not to); she's quiet for a moment longer, when she puts the flask down and just... stares at the blue rose.

I did not think that it made much of a difference where humans slept, for so long as they slept. And then Brother Wolf made an example of himself, and lay down in a good bed.
